In most cases the system automatically finds the coordinates of the city, town, village or settlement that you entered in our 8- million locations database.  Otherwise, the research team is called into action.  On those rare occasions the results will only arrive later, and you will be informed accordingly.

What do I enter if I was born in a small out-of-the-way part of a township?

What if I misspelled a place-name or used a local abbreviation?

Misspelled names as abbreviations, different naming conventions, dialects and languages might call for another manual research and delays.  The good news are: a) we'll keep you informed of such delays; and b) the system stores and learns these alternate names for future use.
