How important is the date of birth to the relationship analysis process?

As in any astrology-based calculations, only accurate date of birth, birth location and time of birth insure valid results.

My partner was born on December 31st at five minutes to midnight.  Her parents requested the doctor to record her birth date as January 1st the following year.  Which date prevails?

Cosmic Aspects (as between stars) cannot be impacted by human procedures.  Your partner's actual time of birth (December 31st) is the valid one.

I was born early morning only because the doctor didn't get to the hospital for a long hour to perform the cesarean, due to a heavy snow storm.  Seemingly, I could have been born on the night before had this labor would have gone smoother.  What day should I take into account?
